Lucky Episode 13! Recorded on 2/15/2015. Erik & James discuss one new book (Thor #5), one from last week (Ant-Man #2), one from two weeks ago (Deadpool #41 that was cut from Episode 11 due to an audio mishap), and the collection of a series from 5 years ago (Doctor Voodoo: Avenger of the Supernatural #1-5). They really get into it about Thor… one loved it, one hated it. You can guess who fell on which side of that debate. Also, Erik breaks up with Savage Dragon, and our heroes cast comic book movies that will never be.
It will become obvious soon into this episode that Doc Fluxx is in some serious trouble. The insolence of certain other members of the Rhymes With Geek Network who had recently vowed to serve the master has not gone unnoticed, and his potentially maleficent lord of lords is even less pleased with the incident that caused Father Shepherd to be trapped between dimensions.
Fear not, however! We are getting this supreme mothership of other lesser flagship podcasts back into order, and the Professor and your good doctor have some comic talk in store. Join us as we aim to improve our operation and impress upon you the appeal of our steadily growing cult.

Ah yes, this new year continues to unfurl with pleasant little surprises and this one is no exception. The mild mannered Dante of the Incompetent Comic Cabal Cast joins Doc Fluxx for this episode of Feed It Comics, and while in retrospect it was far more suitable for our supplemental program Doc’s Diagnosis, nobody will care enough to know the difference.
No, we are not performing an inquisition just yet, but trust that our master will be testing young Dante in the near future. For now, enjoy our banter about comics, roller derby, food, and how amazing Portland is.

I’m not gonna lie, this episode will throw you for a loop. Everything seemed to be going swimmingly and then – as if the ringing in of the new year was a dinner bell for demons – the show was split in twine by unforeseen events! What the hell is Doc Fluxx babbling about? Well you’ll just have to hear for yourself. Considering the details of our week long plunge into a membrane of hell, only to emerge a week later to tell the tale, but with certain limbs missing…
Oh, so we have your curiosity? Then by all means listen to the New Years Episode of Feed It Comics! We talk quite a bit of comics, actually…

Episode 20! Can you believe it folks? What do we got for you this time, you ask? Well Professor Ryefleur and Doc Fluxx are gonna chew that fat about this and that! You dig?
We talk Gal Godot, and other DC movie and television tomfoolery. We talk A Smidge about how Bryan Singer plans to ruin X-Men as long as possible. We talk about promotions within the ranks here at the ritual chamber. We talk comics, comics, and more comics.
Join us, for we are the Masterpiece Theater of comic book podcasting, and if you don’t listen, you’re basically saying “Hey, I have zero culture and my head is three feet up my posterior!”

This episode is the official introduction of a new member of our mysterious and blessed cult, Brother “The Riff” RyeFluer. Feed It Comics has thus become the flagship podcast of the Rhymes With Geek podcast network Bwahahaha Bwahahaaha Bwhahahahaaaa!!!
Our twisted story continues, friends, and this show we mercilessly address several news items, including Alan Moore’s seething hatred for superheroes and their respective fans. Lady Sif visits your sick kid in a hospital and Tom Waits sings duets with Little John. All of this and more comic talk on episode 19 of FEED IT COMICS!

This episode sees the return of the three senior members of the Order, and because Doc was only firing on half of his available cylinders the show may reflect as much. We talk about Marvel’s new tryst with Netflix, DC moving to Burbank, and we do comic reviews for a good stretch, so ready your audio delivery devices and lets make this quick. Today we feed the master.

A casual inquisition to be certain, but we needed to make it official. That’s right, Juan Daeho’s induction into the Order of Caretakers
What better night than Halloween? Halloween is a safe time for mortals. The rituals of tricking and or treating keep the paranormal at bay. Doc Fluxx tends to the ritual chamber dressed as broccoli, surrounded by several piles of unread comics, virtually conjoined with the primary host of Super Podcasto Magnifico. A fine way for two wisened 30-somethings who love comics to spend the evening!

Disclaimer: Of course I know who John Buscema is, I was screwing with Juan.
Music is clearly from a lot of horror movie soundtracks. Poltergeist, the Omen, The Shining, Tales From the Crypt, Phantasm 2 and so on. Sue me, I got nothing.
Enter the Boston Metaphysical Society, a Steampunk Supernatural Mystery Six-Issue Mini-Series Web Comic Written and Created By Madeleine Holly-Rosing with superb art By Emily Hu. Doc connects with Madeline for an interview, and we are hoping this discussion will get people to check out this project POST HASTE! The Doc approves, and more importantly, the Master!
The Order of Caretakers is represented solely by Doc Fluxx this time around, who transforms briefly into ARCH BISHOP FLUXX so that he may carry out the first of what will be many “Inquisitions”, this time putting the steamy pressure on John from the Burnt Weiners podcast.
After an intense series of questions we will settle into some comic talk and because Doc Fluxx can’t seem to go one show without hitting the bottle, there is a bunch of giggly nonsense to lighten up what is ultimately very dark, dark, dark, oh so very dark content. As always, thanks for listening! Oh, and listen to Burnt Weiners while you still can!!

The master needs his menu prepared for the next month so the Order of Caretakers employs the temporary assistance of Josh from Apocalypse Later to present offerings. Let me be clear, this episode is an utter DEBACLE disguised as a good production, but what resulted was more endearingly idiosyncratic than one would hope.
So yes, we actually talk about somewhat current comics, and even though an entire hilarious segment was accidentally NOT recorded, and Brother Oberts had the gall to suggest we burn Avengers in the incinerator, a Frankenstein of a listenable show has come together. Please join us as we feed it comics…

Doc joins Ian from the Incompetent Comic Cabal Cast, liquor did floweth, as did a long long long conversation about comic books.
I (Doc) did not even bother editing this, so please keep in mind that this may very well be a disaster. I know for a fact I get really long winded when I’m this toasted. However, like any good disaster, like a train wreck per say, it may demand your attention – it may even succeed in KEEPING your attention until long after the ambulances and other rescue vehicles have come and gone, and statements were given to the police.
Enjoy?

Yep yep. It has been a week since Rose City Comicon here in Portland and its high time Brother Oberts and Doc Fluxx give up some juicy details and make Brother Shepherd jealous as all get-out. Also, all three members of the order of caretakers are united to offer a review of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and we do plenty of bantering about DC’s stupid announcements. Join us, will you?
Errors: During the episode I say “Gotham Nights” when I clearly meant “Gotham Central”. Forgive the error.

This episode we conduct a roundtable on our top 10 favorite villains in comics, in honor of DC’s villain’s month. Everybody loves top 10 lists so I presume you will join us! Especially seeing as we have ANOTHER special guest: host of Apocalypse Later and perpetrator of the Rhymes With Geek Podcast Network: Josh Reifler! Oh yeah and Brother Shepherd makes his “triumphant” return.
