This week on the Let’s Talk Comics podcast we welcome writer Joe Keatinge to the show. If comics ever decides to not pan out for Joe, he surely could consider a career in voice over or podcasting with one of the most velvety voices i’ve ever heard. But that’s not the point of today’s show. Every once in a while you find great hybrid like creators in this business who have seen how comics work from all angles. Keatinge took every possible job in this industry that was offered to him. What that eventually let him to do was work at Image Comics as their Marketing/Sales & PR guy, and he than parlayed that into a writing career. Creating comics has always been Joe’s end goal, and his journey is definitely one for folks interested in breaking into the comics industry to listen to. We also cover his experiences working with Rob Liefeld on “Glory,” putting together the award winning anthology series “Popgun,” to breaking in at Marvel with books like “Morbius The Living Vampire,” and “What If? Age Of Ultron.” All in all – a ton of fun, so enjoy!
