WMD 101 with J. David Spurlock

*Note: After broadcasting this episode live, we all agreed that it may very well be the best episode that we’ve done. We hope you all agree.

Thanks everybody for joining us for our big 100th episode last week. While it’s nice to look back on what’s come before, there is just no slowing down for your friends at WMD…

J. David Spurlock is our guest for this week. Mr. Spurlock is an award-winning author, editor and illustrator. He is a pop-culture historian and advocate for artists’ rights who has served as President of the Society of Illustrators in Dallas, in addition to working with many of the greatest names in the history of illustration and cartooning including Frank Frazetta, Neal Adams, Jim Steranko, Julius Schwartz, Basil Gogos, Joe Kubert, Carmine Infantino, the Wally Wood Estate and more.

Also this week we’ll be presenting our Siege roundup where we give our thoughts and opinions on Marvel’s big event which wrapped up last week.

Got a question for David Spurlock or do you want to share your thoughts on Siege? Give us a call, hit us up on Skype or post on our Facebook page.

All this and New Comics Day, Opening Night and more…
