Comic Timing – Episode 106: MoCCA and C2E2

It’s time for some more con interviews and wrap-up! This time, I go through all the interviews conducted at this year’s MoCCA Festival in NYC, as well as C2E2 in Chicago. I have a wrap-up of C2E2 on the episode as well, but here is a full list of the intervews conducted at both shows:

  • Dave Roman, co-creator of Teen Boat and a bunch of cool Avatar: The Last Airbender stuff
  • Vin Ferrante, creator of Witch Hunter vs. The Woman in Black
  • Fred Chao, creator of Johnny Hiro
  • C2E2:

  • Paul Mounts, longtime colorist of Fantastic Four, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Ultimates, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, and various other comics, Marvel and otherwise.
  • Raina Telgemeier, creator of Smile, and the Baby-Sitters Club graphic novels
  • Lee Kohse, creator of Kindergoth, and part of Bloodfire Studios
  • Brian Crowley, creator of Hamster Rage, and part of Nerd City
  • Steve Bryant, creator and artist of Athena Voltaire. You can support the return of Athena Voltaire by donating to the Kickstarter Campaign! Oh, and he’s also a Comic Twart.
  • Sean Whelan and Jim Segulin of Raging Bullets
  • Tom Kelly, creator of fun Hello Kitty superhero drawings, and creator/artist of Sword of the Savage Samurai
  • Peter David, writer of X-Factor, Fallen Angel, Star Trek: The New Frontier novels, and plenty of other stuff, too!
