Neil Gaiman makes a 45K visit to our local library, Comics piracy takes a hit when the FBI shuts down one of the biggest scurvy dogs, and Iron Man 2 brought home the gold this weekend. The Godfather of event books makes a surprise appearance on Market Spotlight, and author Jim Shooter will be appearing at Spring Con this Saturday. Here’s a tip Jim: do avoid the gas station by my house.
This week’s buzz book goes to Gail Simone’s Birds of Prey, and a shocking amount of this episode is spent discussing the state of comic books in a vaguely coherent manner. An even more shocking amount of this episode is spent busting the chops of Where Monsters Dwell, our classy older sister from Canada, soon to celebrate their 100th episode! Congratulations, sis!
