CNI 253 – OneShot! Terrence Mann (Addams Family Musical)

Broadway Legend, Terrence Mann, joins us in studio to discuss his role in the just opened Broadway production of The Addams Family musical. We chat about the show, the changes made to some characters, how it was based on the original Charles Addams comic strips and more! We also talk a little bit about his part on The Dresden Files and then have a proper theater nerd out about his originating such Broadway roles as “Rum Tug Tugger” in Cats, “Javert” in Les Miserables and “The Beast” in Beauty and the Beast.

  1. Great interview! Terry was brilliant in ‘The Addams Family’ (and anything else he takes on.) He is a Broadway legend. We need to figure out how to bottle that voice of his and sell it by the liquid ounce.

  2. Thank you so much for posting this interview! So interesting to hear his take on the work he’s done. I agree with you, by the way — Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite musicals as well. “If I Can’t Love Her” is on my iPod and I still can’t listen to it without tearing up. I just saw Terrence in The Addams Family this weekend and he’s wonderful in it (no surprise there). I also got to meet him afterwards and it was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my life. He is the nicest guy!
