A Podcast with Ross and Nick #136

A Podcast with Ross and Nick

Listen to A Podcast with Ross and Nick #136 right now!

The EXTREME Challenge rolls on with X-Men: The Animated Series episodes #4445 (s3 e16 and s4 e14 on Netflix).

Ross Campbell and Nick Marino take a bite out of some hilarious screencaps right away, including this gem:

X-Men: TAS dominates the first 38 minutes of the show, but after that we branch out big time. Ross watched Titanic for the first time and decided that his heart will go on. Meanwhile, Nick continues his obsession with Law and Order: Criminal Intent, having just completed the Jeff Goldblum seasons of the show.

Then we dig deep with a big question: do good and evil exist in day-to-day life or are they only abstract concepts? Nick believes they’re only abstract, while Ross searches his thoughts for an answer that best articulates his complex perspective.

Also: Selling comics on Amazon, DC Comics comp boxes, Bernard Chang, comic book artists who jump directly into mainstream gigs, The Deadpool, JCVD still does his own kicks, and ideas for an AudioShocker shakeup.

Next: X-Men: The Animated Series episodes #4647 (s3 e17 and s5 e3 on Netflix).

No, this isn’t a joke!!

Favorite books and authors, recommendations, rants…. it’s a show The Freaks have been brewing for a while now, so here it is — The Freaks’ tribute to reading!

Episode 6 – The Dark Knight “First Impressions” Review

Has The BAT Jumped The SHARK?

Well, here it is!! You’ve heard about it, you’ve read about it, now listen to this legendary episode for yourself!! Yes, friends, there actually were people that :gasp: DIDN’T LIKE The Dark Knight!!

Join The Freaks, Chris Honeywell and Scott H. Gardner, for their MOST CONTROVERSIAL EPISODE EVER (yes, even MORE controversial than the ancient astronauts episode!!) in which they treat Christopher Nolan’s so-called “epic” the way Ozzie Osbourne treats a bat’s head.

Yeah, yeah, they know — you LOVED it, right? The whole damned world loved it. But maybe now…..after the initial rush has worn off and you’ve come down off that Mountain Dew-induced nerd-high, maybe, just maybe, you can spot some of the chips and cracks in this current Caped Crusader’s nipple-free batsuit, too…

Or not…

ENJOY!!
