It’s Episode 341 of the Wayne’s Comics Podcast, and this week we continue our series of episodes featuring interviews from this year’s San Diego Comic Con, which took place from July 19 through the 22nd! First up, you’ll hear my chat with Tom Taylor from Injustice 2, followed by my interview with Dan Jurgens, who is taking on Green Lanterns. After that is Marc Andreyko discussing his new assignment on Supergirl, followed by Nick Derington, who is doing cover work for Mister Miracle and an upcoming Batman project. Next up is creator Magdalene Visaggio discussing Eternity Girl, then Liam Sharp discussing his upcoming Green Lantern with Grant Morrison. Things wrap up with Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti talking about their upcoming Harley Quinn crossover project as well as Batman stories available in many local Walmarts, among other things! Please note that I did have some slight technical trouble, so you might hear a crackle or two, but not often! As always, special thanks to Charlotte Sandler from BH Impact and the folks at DC Comics’ publicity! Next week, even more SDCC interviews! You’ll find the sequence and times you can hear each interview during the podcast below:

What do writing cool Heavy Metal songs and writing comics have in common? Nothing! Absolutely nothing! Put down that pen, and go back to your guitar where you belong, headbanger! Rob Zombie, Scott Ian, and Glenn Danzig all share a mutual passion for comics, and had brilliant artists at their disposal, so what went wrong? Blind love of 70s creature features? Sycophantic DC editors? An obsession with “croc-like creatures”?! Kumar and Dana attempt to wade through the muck…
Believe it or not, I met a very pretty and nice actress, Laura Allen, the day of recording. She’s not that famous but she is good in her roles and you’ve probably seen her work. I then talk about two movies I recently seen, Inception and Scott Pilgrim. One of those was good. Spoiler alert.
Lastly, you can hear me trip over my own tongue as I finish the series and try to explain the trippy and Biblical, Testament: Exodus (Douglas Ruskhoff, Liam Sharp) and of course, mispronounce things.
