First of all we take a look at the premiere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 – “Shadows”. We didn’t like the first season much, going as far as accusing the Whedon tribe of nepotism during that uncharacteristically angry Serenity show we did. It’s not the fact that Jed and Maurissa got to a place they never would have got to without family connections that wound us up so much as the fact that they were sat in the world’s most awesome sandbox and couldn’t put together a compelling show. Let’s hope they’ve grown as showrunners…
Next up, our epic mission to podcast every bit of Babylon 5 out there reaches Season 3 as we find ourselves setting off NSA alarms over Skype and accidentally recreating a Breaking Bad scene in the process.
Finally, I introduce Simon to the Rankin Bass classic The Flight of Dragons, one of my favourite childhood films. Followed by both of us watching The Last Unicorn for the first time, based on it being a film by the same team, released in the same period and still held in similarly high esteem…
Cobble and Craycroft discuss Valiant news, Free Comic Book Day, and their favorite current DC books. They also review Animal Man, Earth 2, Harbinger Wars, Hawkeye, Snapshot, Indestructible Hulk, The Movement, Polarity, Shadowman, Suicide Risk, Superior Spiderman, Swamp Thing, Ten Grand, Thanos Rising, and Age of Ultron.
One of these days all three of us will be here, i promise. After an awesome amount of levity pointed to the leader of the free world, Sci Fi is gotten into, by way of Kevin being asked to bathe with my four year old. Enjoy our day of geekdom and manliness, comics, steak, sci-fi and scotch, is there anything that could have made the day better? Battlestar, Aliens, Trek, They Live and more. Then comics, oh the comics. I, vampire, Teen Titans, Justice League Dark, Superman, Action, Fantastic Four and Dark Shadows all are looked at in one form or another. Enjoy!
In a episode as tight as a 17 year olds vagina(For us Fathers of Girls this is more of a hope than a statement), A lot of awesomeness and geekitude (it is my god damn show i can invent words if i want to) is discussed. We learn the secret to ass wipery, the greatness of Matt Smith as Dr. Who, The shear lyrical ability of Anvil, and Our Top Five Perfect Albums, with lots of audience participation. The Old may have lice, But that doesn’t stop them from riding the bus. Monkey wants to know what we are watching (when it is not Porn) and the boys either watch no current TV or have the worst memories that has ever been recorded on the interwebs. Comics, Comics, Comics: Superman 701 is given the old How do ya do, as well as wonder woman 601, GI Joe Hearts and Minds 2 and 3. Thor the Mighty Avenger is revisited, Solar Man of the Atom is mentioned in Passing, and you are teased into a Fight that could be on hand for Next week, over the one and Only Brian Michael “I am the next great writer in America” Bendis. Enjoy Folks!

Lets talk some Comics to start off, WHAT, WHO, WHAT, YEAH!!!!!! Morrison is discussed in earnest as Batman 701 draws Kevin’s ire for its timing to which TJ calls him a pompous windbag who purposely uses big words in order to confuse you our loyal listeners. Somehow we get to comparing him to Picard and Kirk and Kirk’s ability to make a robot Cum. Getting back on track, Doom Patrol is also Discussed. Trying to Draw Mike into the conversation TJ Turns to Marvel and starts a conversation on what could possibly be the one marvel Comic that Mike doesn’t read. Other comics discussed are Terry Moore’s Echo, X Men 1, Mighty Avengers and Avengers Academy, Thor: The Greatest Avenger. Then the bridge between segments is Monkey. And what a bridge that is, As he tries to resurrect an old segment: the INSTA FIVE!!! Lastly we discuss Movies, The Gay movie icon in Six Degrees of Separation, that leads to a beautiful discussion on what a Gay movie really is, and the Award Winning classic that is Alien Vs. Predator. Enjoy!

The tales of the wedding of Schmoopie to his lovely bride Holly. Who’d a thunk that a Sunday morning wedding would still cause people to drink with reckless abandon. Dave’s Family includes clowns, Sheriffs, Bag-pipers in kilts, and of course Freddie Legs. In this episode you will learn the secret of drinking hard liquor that has never been explained before all courtesy of another friend’s Uncle. We break into comic news and discuss the creative team shakeups over at DC, JMS taking over Supes and Wonder woman, and Winnick taking over Power Girl. We discuss some comics that have been greenlit into TV shows and then we break into the reviews. Our quick shout outs go into Green Lantern Corps 46, Orc Stain 1&2, Fantastic Four 232-234, Uncanny X-Man Something (Kevin’s not in yet to help me and my horrible memory.) When the left balls away, the music will play. At least they didn’t talk sports. In a very musical edition of the FBC, TJ is feeling generous and starts handing out compliments left and right, but it all comes crashing down as he describes his craptastic day and his hatred for children’s show characters, specifically Ni Hao Kai Lan’s Friends. We learn that the F has been taken away from an F Bomber, but for a good cause with an awesome reward at the end of the tunnel. A new segmant is introduced: Musical Infatuation, where at least two of the bombers will speak of some music they have been obsessed with in the past week and play a representative clip. This week TJ plays Cygnus… Vismund Cygnus by the Mars Volta and Mike waxes poetic of Ricky Warwick and Belfast Confetti. We actually talk some comics too: War of Kings, Exiles, PunisherMax, HellBlazer, and Brave and the Bold. Enjoy!
The Mars Volta: Frances the Mute
Ricky Warwick: Belfast Confetti

Kevin wonders why i don’t listen to his suggestions but then suggest that we name episodes after something that is so briefly mentioned on the show that i sneezed this morning and missed it, Oh well i sort of listened this time. The three amigos are back together and it takes a while of idling for them to get their engines revved again. I am sort of out of it so lets see if the normal talk is discussed: 1) Genitals-Check 2)Cum-Check 3)poop-nope 3)meat-check 4)porn-check 5)movies-check 6)comics-check 7)Star Trek-nope. Comics Discussed are Walking Dead 1 and some sort of manga thing on his iPod Touch app. Warren Ellis’s X-Man series from around 2000 and JMS’s first Brave and the bold issue.
