I hope you’re ready for a “super” interview this week because I’m chatting with Supergirl scripter Tony Bedard! We chat about how he approaches the character as well as discussing his time working with Geoff Johns on Team Green Lantern, his ability to pick up characters developed by other creators and how much he enjoys developing his own comics and the characters that live there! Don’t miss my fun chat with Mr. Bedard!
As always, next week I’ll have another great interview with a comics creator, so be sure to listen in!
When the left balls away, the music will play. At least they didn’t talk sports. In a very musical edition of the FBC, TJ is feeling generous and starts handing out compliments left and right, but it all comes crashing down as he describes his craptastic day and his hatred for children’s show characters, specifically Ni Hao Kai Lan’s Friends. We learn that the F has been taken away from an F Bomber, but for a good cause with an awesome reward at the end of the tunnel. A new segmant is introduced: Musical Infatuation, where at least two of the bombers will speak of some music they have been obsessed with in the past week and play a representative clip. This week TJ plays Cygnus… Vismund Cygnus by the Mars Volta and Mike waxes poetic of Ricky Warwick and Belfast Confetti. We actually talk some comics too: War of Kings, Exiles, PunisherMax, HellBlazer, and Brave and the Bold. Enjoy!
The Mars Volta: Frances the Mute
Ricky Warwick: Belfast Confetti

Yes folks this is episode 66 even though even the Elephant says it is 65. Star Trek is discussed for a whole 30 minutes. From Original Series to Next Generation to Deep Space Nines to Enterprise, the Bombers almost forget the beauty that is Kate Mulgrew in Voyager. We learn that as an extra special feature on the two disc edition of the new movie is a Fantastic JJ Abrams Bukake film (search it’s in there). We learn that Nine is bad even for gay people. Christmas films are discussed and we do a speed five on our top favorite. Comics are talked about in length. Comics discussed: Avengers Forever, Green Lantern: Rebirth, War of Kings, Old Man Logan, Transformers: Bumblebee, The Waiting Place and Judd Winick’s Exiles.
