Some of Jimmy’s favorite CNI dogs send in audio reviews from recent comics, TV and film. Thanks to Producer Joe, Marta, Heidi, Erica, Emmy, Emily, Jon, Barry and Dave! No news or interviews this time. Just pure reviewing magic! Besides, Jimmy has to continue planning for his birthday this weekend. Enjoy and let us know your thoughts on the reviews! It’s the epic 900th episode live recording! And strap in, kids. It’s a LENGTHY ONE at almost 2 hours! We were having so much fun chatting with guests that we didn’t realize the time. You’ll love it though! Once again, Jimmy and Producer Joe hold their anniversary podcast at Hourglass Tavern in NYC. Thanks to Beth & Josh for being such awesome hosts at their restaurant! Jimmy hosted while Producer Joe manned the tech boards while co-hosting. Jimmy welcomed special guests Michael Emerson, William Jackson Harper, Jamal Igle, Rebecca Soler and Liana Kangas. Like every anniversary episode, Jimmy wrote song parodies and recruited friends to be a part of the CNI Chorus. Thanks to Kristen French, Kami Graves, Cheryl Orsini, Rachel Gavaletz, Nic Rockwood and Brianna Melroy for singing their lungs out! And big ups to my newsreaders and reviewers Emily Edwards, Gretchen Souerwine and Ali Sattar.

Such a fantastic night! Thanks to everyone whom attended. We packed the room to standing room only! For reals! Everyone had a great time. Great to see friends and strangers alike that came along to enjoy the show. We couldn’t have made it this far without all of the CNI listeners. Thanks for sticking with us over the years and here’s to looking forward to 1000! Leave your iTunes comments! 5 stars and nothing but love! Also, get a hold of us!

They probably missed some of your favorites but hope you check out what they really enjoyed in 2017. I mean, just check out that picture above. They covered A LOT! They’re definitely more loquacious than laconic so buckle up for a long ride! So many great creators in comics this year and quite a few got multiple kudos throughout the podcast. Thanks to Penelope Bagieu, Emil Ferris, Tillie Walden, Tom King, Greg Pak, Sina Grace and many others for bringing us such amazing work last year. Looking forward to all of your future projects!
