ETM is a weekly video podcast covering comic books the hosts are reading. 4 people + 4 opinions + beer = entertaining conversation! Whether you have already read the books they’re reviewing or you want to find out more before you buy, ETM will give you their take.
Here is our first Video Skype interview! We got together with the Star Joes Podcast crew and had a little talk. Since Bill and Victor are big fans of their show, they pick their brains for answers to the all important questions of the day.
Here it is again, the Exploring The Multiverse Annual March Mayhem event! This year we have each chosen 4 teams to put into a 16 team bracket. You can vote on who should win via our forums, email, Facebook and Twitter. Plus, as an extra bonus this episode, we get our hands on the new Capcom VS Marvel 3. Check out our awesome fighting skills!
Episode 58 of Exploring The Multiverse takes a look at the twisted reality of the Star Wars Infinities series. If you’ve never heard of them, they are the “What If” or “Elseworlds” of the Star Wars realm. There are 3 books (one for each original movie) that give their own self contained story about “What If” just one moment changed. Would the Empire wipe out the Rebels? Would Luke ever find out who his father is? Stay tuned to see…
As we Explore the Multiverse of comics, we sometimes seek out new books and sometimes we stumble across them. Episode 57 is about Marvel’s Icon label book Nemesis and an indie book by Th3rd World Studios called The Stuff of Legend. We decide to change it up as well, by filming 2 separate segments, hosted by only 2 at a time. We don’t spoil any endings, so give it a watch and give some feedback!
Wanna know what the title means? Guess you’ll have to watch to find out. For episode 56, Exploring The Multiverse gives you a look into 2 worlds. A post-apocalyptic world full of animal-human hybrids, and one full of spandex, sorta. We’re talking about Jeff Lemire’s Sweet Tooth and his new DC book Superboy. We really don’t spoil anything, so have a look and see if you’re interested.
Episode 55 of Exploring The Multiverse takes a look at games and a gaming related comic. We’re not talking video games, we’re talking about board games, family games, and games to play with your friends. Games like: Tsuro, Munchkin, and Phase 10. But the first half of the episode is all about Victor’s all time favorite comic book… Knights of the Dinner Table.
In episode 54, Exploring The Multiverse talks in depth on the debate of Trades or Monthlies. Which one is better? When do we buy trades and when do we buy monthlies. This is a topic for all comic book fans. Give us your feedback on Facebook, Email, and our Forums.
This is officially the start of Exploring The Multiverse’s second season. You could call this Episode 53.1, or Season 2.1, or… oh you get the point. But anyways, we answer a fan’s question and talk about jumping on points in current comics and what are good reads for new comic readers.
It’s the new year and the last episode of our first year as a podcast. So, we take the time to look at 2011 and talk about what we’re excited about. Comics, Movies, TV, and Video Games. Plus we have some funny rants.
Exploring The Multiverse takes a look back at 2010 and what it meant to us. What were the top movies, games, tv shows, and of course, comics. Give us your thoughts on 2010 by commenting on our forums, facebook page, twitter, and email.
Exploring The Multiverse has turned 50! Woot Woot! We decided to look back on the comic world by reviewing Action Comics #1 and by reminiscing about old ETM episodes. LOTS of good laughs in this one. Make sure to watch for the facebook contest rules! What a great time filming this one.
Exploring The Multiverse takes a serious look at the classic Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman runs on Miracleman. We like to thank Bill from Comix Connection for letting us borrow the books. We cover 4 books in episode 49, so grab a drink and a snack as we dive into Miracleman.
It took 48 episodes, but we finally are talking about Spider-Man. We cover 2 different topics involving the web shooter. The topic gets a little shaky cause we all don’t agree on the Spidey topic. Oh, and Lucas is back.
Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, ETM has taken off a week of filming. To fill the gap, we’ve released an Update Video. There is REALLY important news in this update! Be sure to check it out. I also give some general information and some info on upcoming contests.
